Gaming Heads Limited Edition “Temple of Osiris” Lara Croft Statue

High-end collectables and replicas manufacturer Gaming Heads is now accepting pre-orders for their latest limited edition Lara Croft statue, which will be available in Q1 2016 and on offer for $339.99 a piece.

Modelled after the Lara Croft seen in  Temple of Osiris, this awesome 1/4 scale polystone resin statue was crafted by 3D modeller and sculptor Kaushik Manna and will be limited to just 1000 pieces worldwide.

World-renowned archaeologist Lara Croft set off on an expedition to Egypt to reclaim the lost Staff of Osiris. However, she was not alone in her pursuit, as fellow treasure hunter and rival Carter Bell was also looking for the staff. Determined to claim the prize for himself, Carter hastily drew the Staff from its resting place, unleashing a curse upon himself and Lara. In order to survive, Lara had to work with Carter to avoid the wrath of Set, God of the Underworld, and escape from the Temple with the Staff in-hand.

This dynamic and exciting statue of Lara Croft features her caught in action, leaping from a rock firing her dual-pistols straight ahead. She’s wearing her famous turquoise tank-top and cargo shorts, and her hair back in a long ponytail. The remains of an Ancient Egyptian relic are emerging from the sand behind her, and hieroglyphics line the rim of the base. From the base to the top of Lara’s head, the statue measures 18 inches tall, and is cast from polystone resin with skillfully hand-crafted details.

The statue includes deluxe, full-color packaging, a hand numbered base, and a validation card which allows you to purchase the same model number in future releases in the Tomb Raider collection.

If this statue isn’t exclusive enough for you, Gaming Heads is also selling an “Exclusive Edition” for $359.99 a piece. The “Exclusive Edition” will be limited to just 500 pieces worldwide and will include the Staff of Osiris, which can be attached to Lara’s backpack.

Although steep by most people’s standards (including my own), this beautiful statue would be an excellent addition to any Tomb Raider fan’s collection. Head on over to Gaming Heads’ website to pre-order your statue or simply ogle some more photos of this breathtaking work of art!

  1. Unless there’s one of Isis with the “Staff” of Osiris, not interested 😛

In all seriousness, looks really cool but a bit too expensive!

      1. My thoughts exactly. Way too much money for that. I have friends who’ve spent similar amounts on World of Warcraft limited edition memorabilia

  2. It’s expensive, in that it’s a lot of money for anything, but in terms of other 1/4 scale, it’s pretty reasonable. She looks great!

  3. I’m a statue collector and the price for this statue is actually pretty average (and normal). Many 1:4 statues (of movie and comic book characters) can go as high as $750. You have to remember that the statues are art… high-end collectibles. But I do understand… if you don’t collect 1:4 or 1:6 statues it would seem very expensive. I pre-ordered this beauty (the Exclusive with the staff) the day pre-orders opened. Being a Lara/Tomb Raider fan since the first game, I can’t wait to add it to my collection. :)And if you’d like to take a peek into my world, you can check out Sideshow Collectibles, for example… and you’ll see what I mean. 🙂
